About the Role
Ledgent Technology is partnering with a Sacramento-based organization to hire a Sr. Project Analyst to support mid- to large-scale, cross-functional initiatives within an enterprise environment. This is a hybrid role based in Sacramento, and candidates must be able to work onsite as required. No relocation is available.
This position is designed for a senior-level analyst who operates as a thought partner to Project Managers and business leaders. The focus is on requirements leadership, governance support, and business readiness, not task-based documentation alone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead requirements definition, traceability, validation, and quality assurance across the full project lifecycle, from intake through post-delivery validation
- Partner closely with Project Managers to support planning, feasibility analysis, governance, reporting, and risk management
- Translate high-level business needs into structured, achievable outcomes, bridging strategy and execution
- Engage with business stakeholders and delivery teams to gather input, facilitate workshops, and drive alignment
- Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Support enterprise governance, compliance, and delivery standards
- Contribute to business and operational readiness, ensuring solutions are adoptable and sustainable
- Apply a continuous improvement mindset to analyst practices, standards, and tools
Required Experience and Skills
- 8+ years of combined experience in project analysis, coordination, and management
- 5+ years of direct experience leading requirements and quality analysis activities
- Proven experience supporting complex, cross-functional, enterprise initiatives end to end
- Strong understanding of PMO environments, governance models, and compliance expectations
- Demonstrated ability to operate with semi autonomy while managing ambiguity and complexity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication
- Confidence facilitating discussions, workshops, and decision-making forums
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, banking, or credit union environments
- Knowledge of financial products, delivery channels, and operational processes
- Familiarity with contractual language and vendor-related discussions
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field
- Advanced degree preferred
